When Kenrick was 10-years old he was given a used magic kit from a second-hand store that was incomplete and missing pieces. That magic kit was the key to revealing a passion and natural talent that would later becoming a life-long career, which would transform Kenrick into “ICE McDonald.”

As an international award-winning entertainer and master magician, Ice gives stellar stage performances and has earned a reputation for his grand illusions, including making doves appear through impossibly small objects. He has sold out performances at The Magic Castle in Hollywood, broken audience and box office records at Monday Night Magic in New York and has been featured on NPR, Fox 11 Morning News, KGUN 9 The Morning Blend, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Masters of Illusion (series on FOX TV), News One Now with Roland Martin, a documentary The Art and Soul of Magic – The Story of America’s Black Magician and ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, UPN, BBC. Ice Has been featured in the New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times, Riverfront Times and in numerous international publications. His sheer mastery of illusion has astonished audiences in London, Wales, India, Singapore, Jamaica, Bahamas, United Kingdom and throughout the United States of America. What sets Ice apart from other magicians is that he builds his own illusions, has not had any formal training; is a devout Christian; and is one of the MOST celebrated magicians in the nation.

On July 3, 2014, Ice made history by being inaugurated as The Society of American Magicians’ (S.A.M.) first African-American National President. S.A.M. is a 112-year old organization, founded in 1902 and is the oldest and most prestigious magic organization in the world. Ice has been a member of S.A.M. for 25 years. For over a century, S.A.M. has promoted the ideals shared by Kellar, Houdini, Thurston and more than 47,000 others world-wide who have held membership in the society.

Ice produced and starred in “African-American Masters of Magic” and has appeared on the cover of The Linking Ring and Mum, two of world’s largest magic publications. He has also been honored for his inclusion in the history book, “Magical Heroes: The Lives and Legends of Great African-American Magicians.” Genii Magazine published a four-page article on Ice, dubbing him the King of Cool.
Ice was awarded “The Entertainer of the Year Award” by the Mr. Black America Association. After witnessing Ice’s performance, Commander Lt. Colonel Trent R. Pickering from the United States Air Force Space Squadron presented him with the “Commander’s Medal for Excellence.” Ice was also honored by the Minister of India with the “Performer’s Trophy of Honor.” He was the only United States representative in their Festival of Global Magic, held in Kerala India. Ice broke attendance records with his tour of Singapore.

Ice is also a sought-after lecturer and media entertainment consultant and has crafted several educational series including “Rethink – Developing your Magic Swagger;” “Dove Wisdom;” “Ice Live, Show Know-Nos;” and Ice Live, on Marketing and Promotion.” He holds memberships to several prominent magic organizations including an Honorary Life Member of the Fellowship of Christian Magicians, the International Brotherhood of Magicians; the Magic Castle/The Academy of Magical Arts; and the Obie O’Brien’s Exclusive Close-up organization – 4F Convention where he earned his Masters in Close-up Magic..
